Enhancing Supervisory Skills: Your Employment Law Toolkit
This workshop will provide information in 4 key segments:
- “Managing for Success” (a/k/a “Why is this person still working here?”). The presentation provides supervisors and HR professionals
with the tools necessary to deal with poor performance, while encouraging them to “re‐recruit” their top people. Heavy emphasis on
how to prepare effective and legally defensible documentation.
- “Workplace Conduct" – This portion of the presentation covers the importance of treating all employees and coworkers with respect,
defining harassment, discrimination, etc., and clarifying the behavior expected of employees under the law.
- "Bullying". This portion will address the behaviors of a bully, the consequences of bullying and how to uncover that you have a bully.
- “Social Media and the Law”. The presentation provides case studies to explain how employees can use social media without crossing
the boundaries of inappropriate or illegal conduct.
